Our modern world can be a stressful place. Our senses are often over stimulated, our responsibilities place such a demand on our time that we do not get enough sleep. Our Western diet is structured around convenience instead of nutritional quality and due to the constructs of our society, we as adults often find ourselves constantly doing for others and not taking any meaningful time for ourselves. Our mission at AQIS, the Academy of Qigong & Internal Studies, is to elevate, invigorate and empower people through the study of Tai Chi, Qigong, and Internal arts. At AQIS, we want you to be the best “YOU” possible. 

Tai Chi, Qigong, and Internal arts can best be described as elevating oneself from the inside out. Instead of only looking inthe mirror and seeing our physical reflection, we awaken our introspective abilities and pay attention to what is going on inside of us. Tai Chi, Qigong, and Internal arts is based upon the principle of conscious breath and movement. 

The study of Tai Chi, Qigong, and Internal arts is to be fully aware of breath, posture, decision making, quality of life and personal health. We improve our physical, energetic and spiritual balance, leading to a more holistic state. Through internal study, we reconnect with our innerself, gain a greater connection and sense of awareness to the environment and awaken our human potential to live at a personally elevated state of being.
